Philippe Pigouchet was a prolific printer who began printing around 1487. He excelled at printing Horae. Simon Vostre (fl. 1486-1518) printed and published in Paris in the Rue Neuve Notre Dame which was the centre of commercial book trade. This Book of Hours, printed on parchment and illustrated with woodcuts, includes scriptural texts and daily prayers to the Virgin Mary to be recited at different hours of the day.
